Counsel, Enterprise Investigations- Hybrid
- Experienced attorney skilled in compliance investigations
- Part of Legal Department's Enterprise Investigations unit
- Responsible for assessing and investigating reports and allegations of healthcare fraud, conflicts of interest, theft and fraudulent schemes, data privacy issues, discrimination, harassment, and other inappropriate behavior
- Partner with and act under the supervision and direction of counsel
- Cultivate a culture of integrity and promote open and candid discussions regarding ethics and compliance concerns
- Ensure prompt assessment and thorough investigation of compliance and ethics inquiries and reports of alleged employee misconduct
- Collaborate with Human Resources and Employee Relations on any employment actions arising from internal investigations
- Conduct root cause analyses and determine appropriate remedial or corrective actions
- Foster a culture of integrity, accountability, and compliance within the organization
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctorate from an ABA accredited law school
- 5-8 years experience conducting and managing complex investigations, preferably in a large, matrixed healthcare company
- Previous experience as a prosecutor, special agent, or other investigative office preferred
- Strong people skills, including effective interviewing skills, and outstanding oral and written communications skills
- Comfortable with laws and regulations applicable to **Members Only** Group's businesses
- Ability to review and analyze complex facts, documents, or data and identify key information
- Demonstrated commitment to integrity, compliance, and ethical decision making
- Sound judgment and analytical abilities
- Ability to present complex issues clearly and succinctly
- Ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and ability to compile and analyze regulatory and business information
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Willingness to occasionally travel
*This role is Hybrid and requires 3 days in the office.
