Corporate Counsel – Telecom Transactions

Job Responsibilities
- Negotiate, draft, and revise complex commercial agreements in various telecommunications areas, including backhaul/transport, roaming, small cells, and interconnection.
- Serve as a trusted advisor for internal business clients across a range of cross-functional teams.
- Advise on a broad range of strategic legal and business matters.
- Provide business-practical solutions and advise the business in assessing short-term tradeoffs in the context of broader strategic imperatives.
- Drive departmental initiatives, including the development or redesign of legal support processes to increase efficiency and better align with the needs of the business.

Education and Experience Information
- 2-4 years of experience as a corporate, transactional, or licensing attorney, with top law firm and/or relevant in-house experience.
- Juris Doctor from an accredited university.
- Current bar membership (in good standing) in at least one . state; eligibility for admission to Washington, Kansas, or Texas bar.
- Impeccable attention to detail and a strong sense of pride in work product.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to interact with senior management with strong executive maturity.
- Keen pragmatic business sense with solid judgment and analytical skills, including the ability to translate the needs of senior leaders into action.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently, meet demanding deadlines, and balance multiple tasks in a dynamic environment with ambiguous and ever-changing priorities.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor others and lead complex projects and high-impact initiatives.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with legal and business professionals, with a variety of personalities, in a complex organization.
- Provide results-oriented practical advice in a timely manner.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
- Desire and ability to work as part of a team.
- Experience in telecommunications is preferred.

Salary Information
- Base Pay Range: $123,200 - $222,200.
- Corporate Bonus Target: 15%.

Additional Information
- At least 18 years of age.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States.
- No travel required.
- This is not a DOT regulated or safety-sensitive position.
- Eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on the role.
