Job Title: Assistant General Counsel

Job Responsibilities:
As an Assistant General Counsel at the company, your primary responsibilities will include:

- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating agreements related to the clearing and custody business. This includes agreements with broker-dealers, registered investment advisors, and other securities industry counterparties.
- Developing and maintaining standardized agreements, forms, and disclosures for various securities industry-oriented activities.
- Advising on securities law requirements, corporate governance, and regulatory matters.
- Collaborating closely with internal teams and external counsel to provide timely, practical, and solution-oriented legal support to all business units within the company.
- Assisting with litigation and dispute resolution processes.
- Identifying and addressing legal risks associated with business operations.

Education and Experience Information:
To qualify for the position of Assistant General Counsel, candidates must meet the following education and experience requirements:

- A minimum of 3 years of experience in corporate law, preferably within a corporate legal department or law firm.
- Active bar membership in good standing, with no disciplinary history.
- Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, analytical, and strategic planning abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Proven capacity to manage a diverse and complex workload effectively.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Outstanding organizational skills with strong time management and follow-up capabilities.

Salary Information:
The target salary range for the Assistant General Counsel position is $110, to $160, per year. Actual starting pay will vary based on factors including geographic location, experience, skills, specialty, and education. The position is also eligible for an annual discretionary cash bonus target of 10% and an annual discretionary restricted stock units bonus target of 10%. These discretionary target bonuses may be awarded semi-annually based upon the achievement of performance goals and targets.
