Responsibilities:
- Review attorney guidelines, outside counsel policies, and contracts from Firm clients
- Advise Firm professionals on conflict of interest issues
- Review RFPs and advise Firm professionals on conflicts and compliance questions
- Work with General Counsel's office to process, examine, and finalize waiver letters, disclosures, and engagement agreements
- Communicate and advise professionals and Firm personnel on conflicts and engagement agreement policies
- Consult with Conflicts Manager on procedural issues
- Supervise Conflicts Department staff
- Prioritize requests and coordinate with team members
- Assist General Counsel's office with projects as needed
Qualifications:
- BA degree required
- Minimum of five (5) years of law firm experience
- Strong Outlook, Excel, and Word skills required
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent judgement and ability to form conclusions independently
- Detail-oriented, organized, and has follow-through skills
- Ability to learn new software programs
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Able to juggle and prioritize multiple projects
- Able to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner
- Flexible and able to respond quickly to shifting demands
- Effective communication with all Firm constituents
- Experience with Intapp is a plus
