2026 National Tax Office & Transactional Specialist Entry Level Staff
Job Responsibilities:
- Assure the financial health of organizations by considering tax issues associated with mergers and acquisitions.
- Conduct research on complex tax issues and write technical memoranda.
- Assist with international tax structuring and operational issues.
- Prepare tax returns and serve as an integral part of engagement teams for clients.
- Assist with National Tax Office functions, including writing internal and external tax alerts on current tax developments and emerging planning techniques.
- Contribute to the internal tax education function.
- Handle the tax aspects of transactions.
- Engage in meaningful interactions with staff at all levels and with clients.
- Deepen knowledge in tax and tax consulting through exposure to various service lines.
Education and Experience Information:
- Strong interest in tax law, demonstrated by completed or planned tax courses before graduation.
- Detail-oriented leader with problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills.
- Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in accounting or a Master’s degree in accounting or tax.
- Must be pursuing an LLM, JD, or CPA license.
- Academic success with a minimum major GPA of .
Salary Information:
- For Colorado applicants, the monthly base salary range is $7,.
- For Illinois applicants, the monthly base salary range is $7,.
- Compensation is commensurate with technical skills and experience and is provided in accordance with applicable state requirements.
